After launching the P10 plus and P10 at MWC 2017 last month, Huawei has now declared a budget version of the flagship gadget, known as P10 Lite. The Smartphone has been officially released in the UK, and is priced at GBP 299.
Huawei P10 Lite features
The company has mainly tried to keep the design language for the Huawei P10 Lite similar to the P10 flagships, with a 2.5D curved glass on the metal frame and front. The P10 Lite will be offered in Platinum Gold and Midnight Black options with ceramic sandblasted finish on the back. The most famous difference with the budget model is fingerprint scanner which has moved over to the back.
The Huawei P10 Lite runs EMUI 5.1, based on 7.0 Android Nougat. It sports a 5.2-inch complete HD (1080X 1920 pixels) screens, and is powered by a 2.15 GHz octa-core 658 HiSilicon Kirin SoC with Mali-T830MP2 GPU with RAM of 4GB. The mobile phone comes with 32GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable through a MicroSD card.
The Huawei P10 Lite comes with a one 12-megapixel rear camera minus the Leica branding that were seen on the P10 Plus and P10, while the front obtains an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. The P10 Lite camera application also gets the Portrait Selfie mode for bokeh effects.
The hybrid twin-SIM Huawei P10 Lite is equipped with a 3000mah battery with support for quick charging, weights weighs 142 grams and measures 146.5x72x7.2mm. Connectivity options include NFC, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, W-iFi 802.11ac, and 4GLTE. Further specs contain Knuckle Sense which lets you tap and draw on the screen using your knuckles.
Recently, the gadget existence has been verified in UK after long nonattendance of Huawei P10 Lite name for scenario. The Smartphone release date is 29 March, but there is now news on stateside launch. In UK it will cost €299.
