The HTC Google Nexus 9 32GB and 16GB is run by 2.3GHz dual-core Nvidia Tegra K1 processor and it comes with RAM 2GB. The tablet packs 16GB of internal storage that cannot be spread. As far as the cameras are troubled, the HTC Google Nexus 8 packages an eight-megapixel main camera on the back and a 1.6-megapixel face selfies shooter.
The HTC Google Nexus 8 runs 5.0 Android is powered by a 6700mAh nonremovable battery. It calculates 153.68 x 228.25 x 7.95 and weight 425 grams.
Connectivity options contain Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and NFC. Sensors on the phone contain Compass Magnetometer, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, and Gyroscope.
No wonder, the Nexus includes a metallic frame around the perimeter for this bigger gadget. It is perfect as long as you don’t guess that all-metal design continues around back.
The Nexus 9 weight is around 0.94 pound, which is not very heavy, but a tablet with an 8.9-inch screen should theoretically be a lot lighter than the 9.7-inch iPad. Yet Apple gadget weights almost as much: 0.96 pounds.
The size and weight gap between it and the 0.64 lbs Nexus is also pretty pronounced. Nexus 9 calculates out to be 8,99 in. tall, 6.05 in wide, with a 0.31 in. depth, which is thicker than both the Nexus 7 and new iPad.
Google Nexus 8 is a latest 8.9-inch screen size for Google Nexus range. It is a few tenths of an inch smaller than the iPad Air 2 but occurs to be the same resolution as Apple 9.7-inch tablet.
Google Nexus 9 has 4:3 aspect ratio that makes it more helpful for productivity, or so Google says. The 16:9 video-friendly Nexus 7 now seems extremely narrow, but it is the best fit for a film watching.
Magnetic keyboard attachment
The keyboard case folds at 2 angles and never needs to be plugged into the USB port. It links wirelessly via Bluetooth and uses NFC to simply pair up. It is better than the run-of-the-mill cheap substitutes sold on Amazon. Google version is $129, which means its focused at serious on-the-go typists.
Google’s “Material design” dials things back for a smooth talk, geometry-targeted interface, one that pops off the display with a more colorful palette. It is refreshing and bold.
Fast settings are simple to access via an all-in-one menu with this pure Android edition of Google OS. Swiping down on the Nexus 9 display just once will show alerts. Swiping down again or swiping down with 2 fingers primarily exposes fast setting controls.
This menu with a setting is a much excellent way of managing everything matched to prior Android gadget setups. Before, the alerts menu emerged when swiping down on the left side of the tablet and fast setting appeared up when swiping down the right side. This was a miss or hit when holding a tablet.
Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and airplane mode are joined by new switches including display slider, flashlight, and Google Chromecast cast display. Sadly, the fast settings cannot be moved or changed. Likewise, the battery percentage is unseen in this second menu.
The Nexus 9 battery life exactly like iPad Air 2, providing Google tablet a rare win in the yearly iPad Vs Android slate comparison.
Its 6,700 mAh is rated up to 9.5 hours of movie playback and Wi-Fi browsing. The iPad Air is supposed to get ten hours when performing the same right tasks and teardowns have revealed Apple griped in a 7,340 mAh battery.
Motorola Turbocharger powers up the Moto X and Nexus 6 with anywhere from 6 to 8 hours of battery life in just fifteen minutes. And it is not Android Smartphones that are advantaging from this Snapdragon-enabled technology. Xperia Z3 tablet compact and Sony Xperia Z2 tablet use it to their benefit.
The rear-facing eight megapixels with a f/2.4 aperture generated darker-than normal images with an average 1.25MB file size and 3264 x 2448 image resolution.
The Nexus 7 actually snapped clearer, brighter and quicker images in mind low light without a flash, though it exposed more than the acceptable amount of noise.
The face-facing camera also captures darker images, but the images were less normal on this 1.6-megapixel camera that has aperture f/2.4. It is best enough for video meeting when the picture standard is not all too vital. Nexus 9 rear-facing camera can take 1080p video, but it is, again, a work best left up to your cell phone.
While the presence of speakers on a tablet, any gadget, is sufficient to make anyone internet in multimedia or gaming sit up and pay focus, the reality is exactly not as grand as you might have guessed. They are not quite as crisp or load as those found on the HTC One but the heavier bass is pretty perfect. Maybe this is best for some, but they do not have serious range. As far as tablet speaker go through, they are maybe amongst the best.
The Nexus 9 features are based around the match heralded attendance of the 64-bit Tegra K1: a twin-core Denver central processing unit clocked at 2.3 GHz with a 192-core Kepler central processing unit pushing pixels like nobody’s business. The Nexus 9 comes with only 2GB.
There are 2 storage versions of the Google Nexus 9 32GB and 16GB version, which also seem a pretty on the light side for what looks to be a tablet squarely focused on gamers and media files. Considering the file size of audio, videos playlists and hi-res games these days, such little storage capacities feels a pretty like shooting yourself in the foot. While SD card access plays perfect again in Lollipop, it makes no difference to the Nexus 9.
There are definitely top points of the Nexus 9: BoomSound is powerful, the Tegra K1 is strong and quick, the gadget looks best and stock Android Lollipop 5.0 is mostly a delight if the gadget optimization for me feels a pretty weird in locations. There is lots of promise here for those that can live with a few problems.
